National LGBT Pride Month
June is National LGBT Pride Month, which is the perfect time to find a local event that people of all ages can enjoy! Do not forget to mark your calendar for NYC Pride from June 23rd through the 28th to celebrate the month.
The event kicks off on June 23rd with Family Night, which is back by popular demand! This year's family movie night is going to feature a screening of Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo at Hudson River Park's Pier 23. General admission is free, and there are also options for VIP and Ultra Premium VIP seating that come with special perks such as a commemorative blanket and complementary beverages.
The official kick off of NYC happens on June 26th with The Rally on Hudson River Park's Pier 26, as a way to remember the Stonewall Riots of 1969. June 27th starts with the VIP Rooftop Party that has three different levels to dance to four incredible DJs. Tickets for the Rooftop Party have sold out every year, so make sure to get yours before they are gone. Teaze is also happening on the 27th as Pride's exclusive event for women. With plenty of DJs throughout the day, you are sure to enjoy yourself at this private party!
On June 28th, you will not want to miss out on the 22nd annual Pridefest. As the annual LGBT street fair, vendors, activities, and entertainers combine for a day full of fun. Attendance is completely free, and there are plenty of delicious treats to eat and drink. The day ends with the Dance on the Pier, featuring Ariana Grande and many other DJs.
