If you are looking for a delicious holiday leftover recipe that the whole family can enjoy together, try this tasty creamy ham casserole!
You will need:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 ounces egg noodles, uncooked
- 2 cups chopped cooked ham
- 1 chopped and seeded green bell pepper
- ¼ cup sliced celery
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 8 ounces sour cream
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Then you will need to:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package and drain.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ham, bell pepper, onion, and celery for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat and then stir in soup, pasta, and sour cream. Spoon into a lightly greased 1 ½ quart baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese, and bake uncovered for another 5 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and enjoy!
